My first 'literary' award! I love it, thank you Noelle!

My first ‘literary’ award! I love it, thank you Noelle!

Unlike my good friend Noelle Clark whose debut novel Let Angels Fly publishes  this week with Etopia Press, I’m still waiting to hear back from publishers on my first novel Moonstone Obsession.

But I am delighted that she has presented me with a Sunshine Award which I am completely honoured to receive.

Such a great honour comes with responsibilites and these are:

(1) Thank the person who gave you the award in your blog post. Check

(2) Do the Q and A below. Check

(3) Pass on the award to 10-12 deserving and inspiring bloggers, inform them and link to their blogs. Check

So here goes:

Favourite Colour: It’s red… no, hang on it’s blue. Um, mainly red, but a blue-red, not a yellow-red.

Coco and Claude - they are so cute. I never thought I would have the patience for kitten, but these two are simply darling.

Favourite Animal: Cats! Particularly my two cute kittens, Claude and Coco.
My husband and I have always been ‘cat people’. Our last cat Cleo, a black part-Persian died at the age of 18 in 2010.

On the Tuesday before the Australia Day long weekend we decided that we were ready to get another cat.

On the Thursday before Australia Day, we found a mother cat and three kittens on our drive way. Then the torrential rain hit. My husband went out to check on the brood and found mother cat and one of the kittens had gone, leaving Coco and Claude behind.

Now they’re three months old and so cute and playful.

Favourite number: All of them.

Favourite non-alcoholic drink: Coffee. Hubby and I have a coffee song we made up on the way into work one morning. Yes… seriously…

Cleo

Cleo, passed away in 2010 at the age of 18 years. Still dearly missed.

Facebook or Twitter: Facebook with a twist of Twitter. On the rocks.

Your Passion: Writing and History. And my Husband most of all.

Giving or getting presents: The proverb that ‘it is much more blessed to give than receive’ is very, very true.

Favourite Day: The ones that end in a ‘y’.

Favourite Flowers: Roses.

My award winners include my Word Whisper friends Hazel, Tamara, Eden and Bianca:
